About Us

Greetings! I’m Nancy Poznak, the founder of BotaniCuisine.

I started BotaniCuisine as a consultation and marketing business, after seeing the need for restaurants to offer more plant-based, vegan-friendly options. For food enthusiasts, BotaniCuisine provides dining guides and other resources for those seeking
​plant-based dining experiences.


I work with local food vendors and can recommend food suppliers which carry plant-based foods. I visit restaurants in Maryland, in the Baltimore, Frederick, and Columbia areas and will be expanding BotaniCuisine’s restaurant outreach in the future. 


My background is in health and wellness, with a Master’s of Science in health science, and certification as a Community Health Education Specialist. I am also a Vegan Lifestyle and Education Coach, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor.


My motivations for eating plant-based/vegan are founded
in health, caring for the animals, and seeing ​an urgent need
​for environmentally-friendly food choices. I also have
a background as an art director and graphic designer
​in marketing and advertising.
